Hey everybody! I'm still hard at work. Dropping in to let everyone know that Paladin of the Spirit (Paladin of the Sigil Book 3) is now live on audible!
I have gotten a ton of release date requests for this one, so I'm glad it's finally out there.

Quick update: Paladin 3 is in Audible's system, and I'm just waiting for them to approve it. It will launch the moment they are done with it, so some of you guys might know when it's live before I do.

Not much other news to share until the audiobook goes live. I'm going to be laying low for a bit building up a book backlog.
I have big chunks of a lot of novels done, but nothing I'm releasing this month. Paladin 4, Spellheart 9, and two other potential series are in the works, both with several hundred pages done.
I'm hoping 2023 will be a good year with lots of content when this stuff finally hits storefronts near you. Until then, I shall fade into the shadows all mysterious-like.

In other news, book 3 is now officially in beta reading. It should hopefully come out on ebook sometime in September. Jessica Threet starts recording it September 15'th, so I'm really hoping the third audiobook comes out before the end of the year. Potentially as soon as October-November if we don't get hit by delays like what happened to this one.
After this, Paladin 3, I'm going to launch a new series, hopefully do two books in that, then double around for another Spellheart novel and then "finish" off Paladin, or at least the part of the story as planned.
Book 10 is the planned ending for Spellheart, so I'll have to introduce a second new series before I cap that off as well. You guys should hopefully start seeing new things from me. I've got a lot of ideas, and the early beta reads for several of them show you guys are hungry for them! I can't wait to share the full versions with you all coming soon!
PS: the new website is still happening. I know a lot of you guys are getting browser errors every time you visit this one. Sorry about that. Rest assured I've been spending (most of) my time writing! As soon as I start feeling burned out and tired I'll turn my attention to getting a real official big boy website off the ground.
Hey everybody! It's been a while since my last update so I wanted to pop in and say hello. I just finished my draft of Paladin 3, so that's definitely well into production but I can't give you a release date for certain until the beta readers are done with it. It's at 200k words, so it is definitely another beefy book.
Spellheart 9 is on the backburner, but I do have the first few chapters done thanks to some weekend writing. I'm also preparing to open up a new series. Those of you on my Discord or Patreon probably heard about it. It's called Amazon Apocalypse, and I have high hopes for the series!
Anyway, I do have some news for you guys on the audiobook front!
Jessica Threet and I just finished submitting Paladin of the Shield to Audible, and now it has to go through ACX and Audible's quality control. You guys will probably see it go live before I do. It could turn up any time from later today to two weeks from now, but it will be release sometime in that timeframe. I will let you know when!
I also heard from Tantor today, and they've finally got a date for Spellheart 8's release as well!
October 11'th 2022 is the date! Mark your calendars for Web of the Timeweavers on audio then!
The fourth edition paperbacks for Spellheart are also out. Nothing much has changed with them except making typography consistent across all editions. They should all be matching for collectors now, as well as having any typo fixes that the ebooks have gotten since the third edition.

Paladin 3 is next. I switched off Amazon Apocalypse for a bit because with Spellheart 8 and Paladin 2 both going long I kinda missed my ideal writing/release bracket for a new series. But it is coming up right after Paladin 3 comes out.
I'm super excited for AA. I think you Spellheart guys will really like it, since it covers base building and has a lot of the same style of worldbuilding as Spellheart.

While being Marvin Whiteknight was funny for a while, I kept getting the same questions and same raised eyebrows. So I figure I'd just trim it down a little.
(If you haven't guessed by now... 'Whiteknight' wasn't even my real last name to begin with! I've tricked you all! But most importantly, I've tricked my mother, who googles my name regularly. Knight is not my last name either, but it is close enough I know how to write it in cursive if I ever need to sign books. Whiteknight was a little much in cursive. My 'W' are always all messed up.)
Anyway!
The audiobook for Spellheart 7 is done, and Spellheart 8 will be my next release! I've finished writing it as of now and am cleaning up my second draft, so I'm actually fairly close. It's just a matter of beta reader changes and cleaning up typos. I will do an announcement of that later.

I really wish I had firm dates for you guys on these things, but all of my estimations are always way, way off. So the most I can promise is that those three books will be written before the end of the year.
They hopefully won't be the only books I publish this year, but a lot depends on how long the manuscripts are and whether or not we face nuclear Armageddon.

Sorry for the long time going idle. I've (finally) got another real release for you guys! It's been a long time coming. This book went super long, and to be honest I desperately wanted to split it into two books, but the story just wasn't possible to split.
So instead I'm publishing it all as one chunky book (Roughly 238k words). I had to actually shrink the page count by shrinking the margins lest the spine size increase the price point and cost you paperback collectors a bunch more money.
Anyhow, it is done now! Please, if you haven't given this series a try, give it a go!
This book was quite a journey, and I think I improved a lot as a writer for putting it to paper. I tried a bunch of new techniques that I never would have dared to use in the Spellheart series, and I'm glad I wrote it.

In other news, I'm now working on Spellheart 8! I was slowly tinkering away with it in the background while writing this book, so most of the novel is drafted. I do tend to have lengthy editing processes though, so I'm not giving any firm release dates yet.
I have been putting this off for a while, but I think my schedule for the year has firmed up enough that I can post my tentative publication plans and the release dates I'm hoping to hit. Stay tuned for that.

How the hell do you all know so much about boats?
I was going over my beta reader feedback for Paladin of the Shield and I thought I did boat stuff fairly well since I googled the difference between port and starboard.
But no, my beta readers keep hitting me with stuff like gunwales and bowspirits.
Apparently, I dramatically underestimated your naval knowledge.
