Once again, thank you everyone for the support. I couldn't do it without you. The beta readers really enjoyed this book, and I hope all of you do as well!

And now, rather than making an entirely new post for the inevitable questions for book six, I'll give you the best, very rough estimation I can give you.

Three months, give or take a month. I'm hoping for two, but as an author you always want to under-promise and over-deliver.

The book is currently done and airing at about 2 chapters a week on my patreon as I edit it. The trouble is it does tie in with book 7 (which is what I'm drafting right now) and I want take a second crack at a few scenes I'm unsatisfied with.

I do want to mention that my previous post saying I'd decided to split book 5 into books 5 and 6 is out of date. I changed my mind on that when I actually wrote the scenes where the dividing line was going to fall. So I reworked the plotlines from the old books 5 and 6 into another three book arc like the first trilogy.

Edit:

Tantor just contacted me and told me that the release date for Legacy of Vanished Friends (Spellheart 4) has been pushed back to 7/13/2021. Memories of the Reborn (Spellheart 3), looks like it will still release on 4/27/2021 as planned.

  1. I recently finished your last book. It was very well done. I can tell that you have grown as an author and i really like the pacing and overall change of scope in this book. We were teased with 10 thousand worlds in the first book and we have finally glimpsed the nature of the greater universe you are building.

Very well done. I'm glad i found your series and i look forward to what you make. I hope to support you throughout.

  2. Great book, keep them coming! The cover of book six depicts Melise?

    1. The cover of book 6 is indeed Melise! I commissioned it at the same time as this one, since I wrote both books together. I'll reveal the cover on here when I've got a release date.

    2. Hello, I've been trying to find replies where you named the other elves on the other covers. I'm going with: Sava, Yorik, Nela(?), Eltiana, Assyrus(?), and you've said Melise for book six.

Is there more artwork of the ladies out there, official or otherwise? Feels like this series is big enough and definitely good enough that it should have a pretty big artwork database by now.

Thanks, love the series easily my favorite since I've dived into the genre.

    3. Correct, Anonymous. It's Sava, Yorik, Nela, Eltiana, Assyrus, Melise, and I haven't quite decided who gets book 7. Illiel is the most overdue, but she's a bit similar to Nela and Melise in appearance, being related and all. I might do Princess Tivana or somebody else. We'll see.

I do have one piece of art I commissioned from a student artist way back when that was part of the fight between Nela and Sharian, but that's the only piece of artwork I know of that isn't cover art. It should be somewhere on this blog, though it's probably pretty far back.

    1. Oftentimes, Amazon takes up to 2 weeks to notify followers of a new release.

  4. can you keep the adult content in the harem its just the direction is starting to go to a place where the MC is starting to become the villain that orc fire pit scene was just wrong and now its in my brain. I know this series has fetishes but cucking people will shrink your audience think about before you put it into your series. I also didn't care for the chapter in a earlier book where all it was was a dream invasion punishing one of the elves it was a waste of space in the book to me.

    1. The answer to this is essentially, "if you want to make a cake, you have to break some eggs." Any story decision I make will face some backlash. I've heard from two people who didn't like the orc fire pit scene, but I also received three special requests explicitly for that scene. In the end, it's a wash. Some people will like it some people will hate it. I won't let it worry me too much.

    2. Well I had to do some searching. I'm desperate for books 3&4 to be released. I loved your first two books, and impatiently await when the rest are released on audio.

The start of the first book was weird, but after he left the robot and explored on his own, I fell in love with your series. It's been torture waiting for the new releases. I hope tantor already scooped up book 5 so they can start working on it, and release it this year.

      Keep up the good work!
